Re:  Bill C-525 - Employees Voting Rights Act An Act to amend the Canada Labour Code, Parliamentary Employment and Staff Relations Act and the Public Service Relations Act (certification and revocation bargaining agent)

Greetings,

As you know, the Conservatives private members Bill C-525 would make it virtually impossible for workers to form a new union in a federally-regulated workplace and much easier for workers to decertify the union.

Your bargaining team has reached an impasse with the Employer and filed for concilation. Our conciliator is Serge Gagnon from the Ontario Labour Relations Board. Our meeting dates are March 5th and 6th in Ottawa.

Support your bargaining team!

The bargaining committee will be organizing and mobilizing the membership in advance of conciliation. Let's stick together and in solidarity create a show of strength to our employer.

Please contact us if you have any questions.

Unifor 2025 is proud to launch its all-new comprehensive website!

Our goal is to use our website as the local's primary means of communication and information disemmination. Such things as regular updates, news stories, bargaining updates and event announcements will create a thriving and dynamic site for our members.

We will feature member-only content and plan to equip the site with an on-line secure voting system. More on that soon!

Please feel free to comment here on what you see on the site.  Any additions you'd like to see?  Anything recommendations on the site layout?

We look forward to hearing from you and keeping you engaged in your local and union through our new site.
